Job description

An acute healthcare system in New Jersey is seeking a Locum Advanced Endoscopy Gastroenterologist to join their team in Camden County. This locum opportunity involves advanced endoscopy procedures, interventional call coverage, and hospital rounding as needed.
About the Opportunity:

  • Shift: Day shift
  • Schedule: Wednesdays; 1:3 weeks of interventional call coverage
  • Hours: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
  • Setting: In-person, acute care hospital
Responsibilities:
  • Perform advanced endoscopy procedures, including ERCP and EUS
  • Provide interventional call coverage on a rotating schedule
  • Round on hospitalized patients as needed
  • Respond to procedure calls and come in when needed
  • Maintain and submit required case logs and clinical documentation
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO
  • Active New Jersey medical license
  • Board certification in Gastroenterology
  • Fellowship training in Advanced Endoscopy
  • Demonstrated experience performing ERCP and EUS procedures
  • Ability to provide 1 to 2 years of case logs
