Job description

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities, not limited to:

  • Coordinate work orders for production equipment.

  • Attend meetings with manufacturing and engineering personnel to develop scopes of work and action plans for equipment repair and improvements.

  • Inspects machines and equipment to ensure specific operational performance and optimum utilization.

  • Utilize basic hand tools and electrical diagnostic tools to troubleshoot and repair equipment deficiencies.

  • Train and mentor less experienced technicians on maintenance best practices for their respective area and equipment.

  • Develop processes and procedures to improve equipment uptime. 

  • Leads work efforts for specific project tasks.

  • Must comply with all company attendance policies and guidelines; this includes, but is not limited to, regular attendance and occasional overtime.

  • Ability to work in team environments, Solo work and working with all levels management, Eng and people.

  • Willing to participate in continuous improvements initiatives within our process to enhance the work task.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Basic Qualifications:

Education:

  • Certification in mechanical, electrical, or apprenticeship preferred.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in mechatronics preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. 
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic drawings.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. 
  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. 
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form.

Experience:

  • This position requires a minimum of five years related experience in a maintenance role.
  • This position requires a minimum of two years of related experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Employee must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
  • This position entails access to export-controlled items and employment offers are conditioned upon an applicant's ability to lawfully obtain access to such items.

Preferred Qualifications (For this position to be successful):

  • 24/7 operations manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with vacuum casting furnaces, injection press machines, and/or Fanuc & Motoman robotic systems is preferred.
