Responsibilities:
•    Create a care culture.
•    Create a positive customer experience by completing the service correctly the first time with quality and care to applicable codes, to avoid refunds and recalls.
•    Present professionally to the customer in actions, communication, language, and by wearing a clean Company uniform.
•    Consistently provide accurate TruTransparency pricing.
•    Mentor and develop apprentices under his / her care to achieve desired performance metrics.
•    Perform a thorough and accurate HVAC inspection including Health & Safety Checklist and communicate findings to the customer in a written option sheet.
•    Properly troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Refrigeration Equipment, Ice Machines and HVAC systems to include installation and repairing systems by mounting, installing, fabricating, or connecting compressors, condensers, evaporators, motors, expansion and discharge values, motors, temperature and fans, control panels, switches, fuses, filters, gauges, ducts, piping, tubing, and related components; completes power connections.
•    Troubleshoot, service and repair products and systems, such as walk in boxes, refrigeration systems remote and non remote, ice machines, reach in coolers/freezers.
•    Proper use of down tag.
•    Understand when to issue a “Lock Out / Tag Out” tag and the required follow-up steps.
•    When issues are identified, prepare a detailed finding report with pictures to discuss with the customer.
•    Present repair options to include cost using the options sheet.
•    Complete all required documentation on services and collect, record, and deliver fees to designated office administration.
•    Responsible to contact dispatch to disposition recall and warranty jobs to assure they are recorded correctly.
•    Facilitate order for all parts required for appointments and ensure preparedness for the day of service.
•    Process warranty parts and paperwork as the job is completed; follow-up to verify the warranty processed.
•    Record all material used or consumed on the job for job costing and replenishing.
•    Work with manager / dispatch to schedule a follow-up appointment with the customer when the work is not completed during the initial appointment.
•    Transport materials and tools to the job site and provide proper accounting of assigned tools.
•    Keep truck clean, stocked and accurately inventoried.
•    Protect customer’s home from damage while working and leave customer’s home cleaner than when arrived.
•    Coordinate with other departments to ensure appropriate job objectives are met effectively and completely.
•    Inform a team lead or manager when the customer does not have HVAC service before leaving the job.
•    Communicate the benefits of Club Memberships.
•    Manage to performance metrics scorecard.  
•    Report safety issues to team leader or manager.
•    Perform other duties as assigned.
 
Position Requirements:
•    A High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
•    A minimum of 2-Years experience preferred but not required in commercial service, troubleshooting, and correcting diverse commercial HVAC service issues.
•    Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) 608 Certification.
•    A valid driver’s license and approval to drive by Company’s insurance carrier.

•    Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
•    Must be highly organized with good attention to detail and follow through.
•    Possess good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
•    Proficient in using a computer, tablet, smart phone, read maps, and Global Positioning System (GPS).
•    Team player working in a team environment.
 
Physical Requirements:
·         Must be able to work both indoor / outdoor conditions where the elements and temperatures vary from comfortable to extreme heat to extreme cold and dry to rain to snow at least 70% of the time.
·         Climb ladders and steep stairs.
·         The majority of time is spent standing, stooping, bending, crouching, kneeling, sitting, and reaching.
·         Often works in tight spaces such as attics and/or crawlspaces.
·         Must be able to lift 50 pounds with ability to push, pull, carry, or maneuver heavier items (with additional manpower or appropriate devices).
·         Occasionally work from heights 15 feet or higher above ground.
·         Carry a 24-foot extension ladder alone and / or a 40-foot extension ladder with a fellow co-worker on most jobs.
·         Have good visual acuity.
