2022 Warehouse Assistant Job Description & Goals

Job Description:

The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for accurately picking, packing and shipping all customer orders that are shipped from the Peoria location. 

This person will also be responsible for unloading all inbound shipments (trucks and containers) as well as maintaining an accurate inventory in each warehouse via cycle counts and general organization.

? Receive, palletize, and store incoming inventory.

? Perform cycle counts as needed.

? Proactively monitor our order management system (NetSuite) to ensure that all orders have been printed, picked, fulfilled and shipped in a timely manner.

? Support the Graphic Design department with mounting and trimming custom backboard prints when needed.

? Maintain a clean and organized warehouse.

? Safely operate pallet jacks and forklifts, and ensure the safety of those working around you.

? Work effectively with peers and managers.

? Other duties as assigned

Requirements

Goals:

? Become proficient with the Fulfillment process in Netsuite within 3 months from start date (print pick tickets, pick order, fulfill in NetSuite, ship in Netsuite).

? Ensure all orders from the current day are picked, packed and shipped the same day.

? Be able to process Returns (inspect, replace, repackage) within 6 months from start date.

? Maintain an order accuracy pick rate of at least 98%.

? Be able to successfully cycle count an inventory item (find, count, document, reconcile differences) within 2 months of start date.
