THE WORK Analyzing and optimizing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance product quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, quality, and maintenance, to ensure seamless implementation of process changes Identifying and implementing process improvements and utilizing tools such as Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies. Maintain comprehensive process documentation, including work instructions and standard operating procedures.

WHO YOU ARE You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.

Basic Qualifications Minimum 5 years of manufacturing assembly experience. Direct engineering/technician experience is a plus.

Strong knowledge of cables, subassembly, and cabinet manufacturing including equipment, materials, and quality control methods. Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies Experience with crimpers, wire strippers, wire cutting equipment, and label equipment. Ability to walk up and down stairs, as well as stand for long periods of time, in order to access and troubleshoot equipment on the production floor Physical ability to lift, bend, and stretch in order to perform equipment maintenance and repairs Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment with frequent interruptions and changing priorities Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings including schematics and wire run lists.

Desired Skills Associate's degree in Engineering technology, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field Certification in Lean, Six Sigma, or a related field Proficiency in CAD design tools, such as Creo or SolidWorks Experience programming and troubleshooting cable harness equipment Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards, such as IPC-A-620, J-STD-001 and MIL-STD-130 5 years of experience assemblies harness cables, subassemblies, or cabinet assemblies Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $57800.00 - $107400.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people. Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics. For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays.

Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
