Senior TIG Welder / Fabricator – (Stainless & Aluminum 2nd shift + Premium Pay)

Precision Stainless Steel & Aluminum Welding

Location: Salt Lake City
Pay: $29.00 – $34.00 per hour (DOE) + $1.00 Shift differential = $30-$35 hr.
Schedule:  Second Shift (3:00 pm – 12:30 am) with every other Friday off (9/80 schedule available)
Type: Full-Time

What You’ll Be Responsible For


• Perform TIG welding (GTAW) on stainless steel and aluminum components
• Fit and weld chambers/tanks and pressure vessels
• Fabricate components using engineering drawings and blueprints
• Weld pipe assemblies ranging from 1/8” to 36”
• Fabricate tanks and assemblies ranging from 4” to 8’ in diameter
• Perform layout, fitting, and fabrication of welded assemblies
• Inspect welds and completed assemblies to ensure quality and structural integrity
• Maintain safe work practices and organized work areas


What Sets You Apart


5–7+ years TIG welding experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment
• Strong experience welding stainless steel and aluminum
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and weld prints
• Experience fitting and welding large fabrications, tanks, or structural assemblies
• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing clean, high-quality welds
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with a fabrication team


Bonus Experience (Nice to Have):


• Experience welding vacuum chambers or pressure vessels
• Experience with pipe welding
• Experience with fabrication equipment such as rollers, ironworker, mills, or lathes
• Background in aerospace or advanced manufacturing fabrication
