Lockheed Welder Jobs in Colorado (NOW HIRING)

Our Client is seeking a Project Coordinator for a steel contractor specializing in structural and miscellaneous steel for industrial and commercial projects.

The company offers a positive culture and is continuing to grow while working on challenging projects including work at Coors Field, universities, multifamily developments, commercial and industrial projects, as well as projects for companies such as Lockheed and RTD. This is a fast-paced environment and is NOT a remote position.

• Keep all Contract Drawings, Submittal Drawings, RFIs, and Change Orders current and organized in Tekla (ERP) software system.

• Initiate and track all submittals and RFIs for assigned projects.

• Quickly and efficiently respond to customers as needed.

• Help sequence and coordinate deliveries to jobsites by working with the Field Manager and Shop Manager.

• Assist with job quality control by reviewing submittal drawings before processing and sending them to customers for review.

• Initiate and complete necessary paperwork required for jobsite-specific security, safety, and access.

• Strong computer skills.

• Highly organized with the ability to communicate information in a clear and precise manner.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Natural and consistent focus on project safety.

• Demonstrated ability to manage and balance multiple projects.

• Adaptability to meet tight deadlines despite weather and project delays.

• Experience with structural steel erection and welding.

• Experience with large-scale commercial drawings and projects (4+ years preferred).

• Knowledge of AISC and AWS standards.
