This position is located at Tyndall AFB in Panama City, Florida, and will support the F-35
Lightning II Program.
This position will perform duties as a Security Generalist and will be responsible for security support of classified of the F-35 Pilot Training Center.
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
assist instructors, pilots and visitors using the facility; operate badging and access control systems; monitor security camera systems; perform random searches. Enforce all USAF and local security procedures and practices including the following: controlling access to secure facilities, handling and storage of classified documents and electronic media, monitoring compliance with COMSEC and COMPUSEC (act as COMSEC / SVRO Custodian as needed). Provide assistance with the following: file plans and documentation maintenance in classified containers; change combinations and generate SF 700s; assist in self inspections and prepare for customer inspections; perform and document vault alarm tests; assist in security investigations; and escort un-cleared personnel within classified areas.
This position will primarily be assigned to 1st shift but may require flexibility to work other shifts as dictated by customer requirements to include weekends and other shifts assigned to support mission events. Occasional business travel may be required to include deployment and detachment support in arduous or austere locations to support F-35 security operations outside of Tyndall AFB.
Basic Qualifications
1. Secret security clearance with an investigation or CV date within 5 years.
2. Must be able to obtain and maintain Special
Access Program Access.
3. Experience working in classified areas and with classified materials.
4. Outstanding written and verbal communicative skills. Excellent customer service skills.
Desired skills
1. Knowledge of Joint Strike Fighter security requirements.
2. Experience working in a military environment. 3.Works well independently and in group settings.
4.Ability to multi-task and remain organized
5. Knowledge of ICD 705 and/or DoD Manual 5205.07

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $47,000 - $82,915. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
