THE WORK
Seeking candidates to fill the position of F-35 Pilot Flight Equipment (PFE) Field Engineer.
The Pilot Flight Equipment Field Engineer for the F-35 Global Sustainment Organization will provide direct support for all scheduled and on condition maintenance and inspections of F-35 pilot flight equipment. The PFE Field Engineer will provide technical support for field sustainment pilot flight equipment back shop operations at Lask Air Base, Poland to include SE induction, inspection, assignment, issue, and servicing of F-35 pilot flight equipment assets. The successful candidate will support on-the-job (OJT) evolutions for Polish maintenance personnel at Lask Air Base.
Additionally, the candidate selected for this role will be expected to become familiarized on the full spectrum of F-35 PFE product line, current operational processes and procedures for field operations sites as well as PFE sustainment operations with the PFE/SE integrated product team. Must be able and willing to adapt to the constantly changing operational characteristics of the F-35 PFE/SE Sustainment operation as program needs mature over time. Work location for this position will Lask Air Base, Poland. Job may require flexible work schedule to provide coverage for on-site customer requirements, to include possibility of weekend work requirements.
