Lockheed Martin's, Rotary & Mission Systems (LM RMS), Program Security and Compliance invites you to step up to one of today's most daunting challenges: the protection of exquisite government capabilities leading to warfighter supremacy against our peer and near peer adversaries. As a program security professional at Lockheed Martin, you'll safeguard the sensitive information and warfighting capabilities that our citizens and the world depend upon to protect U.S. and ally interests. Here, you'll work alongside other program security experts and military members to support their military operational objectives by providing them with a safe and secure operating environment. In this fast-paced, real-world environment, you'll draw on all your education and experience as well as the resources of Lockheed Martin to keep these exquisite capabilities protected.
The Work:
This position is located at MCAS Miramar in San Diego CA, and will support the F-35 Program. Selected candidate will primarily perform duties as a Security Shift Operations Manager in a Special Access Program environment, reporting to the MCAS Miramar F-35 Site Security Manager. Position will be responsible for employee recruitment, training, performance management, work assignments, recognition/disciplinary actions, etc. Develops, implements and recommends modifications to operating policies. Ensures projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Conducts briefings and participates in meetings for internal and external representatives concerning specific operations. Additionally, candidate will manage more than one functional area in Security, such as operational security, security education, personnel security, physical industrial security, investigations, and document control. Performs and manages other duties as assigned.
Selected candidate will serve as the Security Lead in the Site Security Manager's absence and is responsible for coordinating subordinate employee recruitment, selection and training, performance assessment, work assignments, salary, and recognition/disciplinary actions.
Position is primarily a first shift position, however, due to the dynamic environment supporting flying operations, and pilot training the selected candidate may be required to support either first, second or third shift operations to include weekends as required. While assigned shifts should be stable, applicants may be required to change shifts, if necessary, to support mission requirements. On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift. Some business travel may be required to include deployment and detachment support in arduous or austere locations to support F-35 security operations outside of MCAS Miramar, San Diego. Due to local mission requirements, a Top Secret/SCI clearance will be required, in the future.

In support of our US Marine Corps, US Navy and US Air Force customers, members of the team are responsible for providing all aspects of security support services such as, Physical Security (PHYSEC), Personnel Security (PERSEC) Collateral Security, Security Education and Training (SETA), Access Control, Media Control, Construction Security Management, and Squadron deployment support.
On occasion, incumbents may be required to work 1st or 2nd shift and a non-standard work schedule that differ from their primary shift being hired for.

Basic Qualifications
Current Secret security clearance with an investigation within 6 years from the investigation Closed date or confirmed enrollment within the Continuous Evaluation (CE) program. Must be able to obtain and maintain access to Special Access Programs (SAPs). Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret/SCI security clearance when local mission requirements dictate. Familiar with working in classified environments and/or classified materials.
Excellent written and oral communications skills. Ability to multi-task. Ability to be flexible and deal with constantly changing program requirements. Experience leading/managing people, teams and resources.
Desired skills
1. Prior L-Code Manager experience in a Lockheed Martin Security environment (F35 L-code experience a plus).
2. Knowledge of F-35 Program Security requirements.
3. Experience as a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO), assistant CPSO, or government Program Security Officer (PSO).
4. Familiarization with the NISPOM. Experience working in a military environment.
5. Knowledgeable user of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint and Excel.
6. Ability to multi-task.
7. Ability to be flexible and deal with constantly changing program requirements.
8. Experience leading/managing people, teams and resources.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $85,400 - $150,650. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.

Premium Pay Statement

For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
