THE WORK
Lockheed Martin Space in White Sands Missile Range, NM is seeking a level 3 Data Scientist Analyst to design, build, and maintain data sources, pipelines, databases, and Tableau dashboards using SQL, Linux, Python, and softwaredevelopment best practices.
As Data Science Analyst, you will:
Lead acquisition and integration of mission data from diverse sources, designing and maintaining automated pipelines that cleanse, parse, and deliver mission information to realtime metrics and trending dashboards
Collaborate with DE Enterprise, system factories, and mission stakeholders to establish data pipelines that load cleaned data into dashboards and advanced visualizations.
Diagnose and resolve unexpected datapipeline anomalies by analyzing discrepancy reports, troubleshooting collection faults, isolating issues, and executing realtime manual interventions to restore data pipeline functionality
Conduct regular dataquality audits, resolve inconsistencies, and drive processimprovement initiatives to enhance data reliability and pipeline efficiency
Lead weekly Sprints, standups, and team meetings, preparing and delivering concise management and customer briefs
Guide and mentor junior Data Scientist Analysts, establish and continuously refine departmental procedures, and deliver comprehensive training on analytical tools
This is an EARLY-MID CAREER (level 3) ROLE where candidates typically require 3+ years of professional experience and a BS degree.
