Job description

You will be the Systems Engineer Senior Staff (Level 5) - Advanced Programs for the Advanced Communications & Data Links Roadmap team which is responsible for shaping, crafting, and maturing the future architecture and capabilities related to communications and data links.


What You Will Be Doing


As the Systems Engineer Senior Staff (Level 5) - Advanced Programs you will be responsible for translating highlevel mission needs into detailed system and software requirements, guiding architecture development, and acting as the technical SME for the roadmap.


Your responsibilities will include:



  • Define and develop systemlevel requirements and architecture for advanced communications and data links.

  • Decompose system architecture into softwarelevel specifications and ensure alignment with implementation teams.

  • Mentor and support development teams as a subjectmatter expert and teacher.

  • Collaborate with Roadmap Lead, Project Manager, Software Architect, and other stakeholders to drive roadmap objectives.

  • Travel to customer facilities and Lockheed Martin sites approximately once per month to support integration and stakeholder engagement.
