We are seeking a Finance and Business Operations Manager for the Orion Program in the Commercial Civil Space Line of Business. The Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle is NASA's first spacecraft designed for long-duration, human-rated deep space exploration. Orion will transport humans to interplanetary destinations beyond low Earth orbit, such as asteroids, the moon and eventually Mars, and return them safely back to Earth.
This position requires a high impact leader than can lead a finance team in a dynamic environment. The program has both development and production contracts, that requires a leader with knowledge of different life cycles of a program.
The Finance and Business Operations (F&BO) Manager will have oversight and responsibility for financial and business operations and financial deliverables and program execution. Coordination with functional areas that support business operations will be critical to effectiveness in this position. The position is an integral member of the Orion finance leadership team and will be responsible for supporting new business as well as program execution and performance. This leader will have responsibility for providing leadership to financial team and serving as a financial advisor to the larger program.
In addition to having a broad business background and strong financial acumen, the position requires a passionate people leader that can attract, engage, motivate, and develop F&BO talent within the organization. The F&BO team is a critical support function and is integrated into every part of the business. This leader will be influential in shaping the culture of the team and should be passionate about talent management.
The ideal candidate has experience with Government contracting, Earned Value Management, Financial Planning and Analysis, Funding and Strategy. This leader will be have a high degree of customer interface, bother external and internal as well as with NASA representatives and will often present to executive leadership. This leader will lead a large fast paced program and agility will be required.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
National Pay Statement
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Premium Pay Statement
