Description:The Quality & Mission Success Manager will lead the Quality Engineering team in Production Operations, and Mission Success functions for classified program within Lockheed Martin's ADP Skunk Works. The manager will provide overall Quality leadership for the classified program, ensuring compliance with AS9100, and internal LM quality standards while driving a culture of accountability. The incumbent will implement and ensure compliance and execution of the Quality Management System (QMS) that supports production, modification, repair, and overhaul activities. Responsibility includes oversight of Quality Engineering and Inspection support, budget adherence, program schedules and partnering with internal stakeholders and external customers to achieve program quality, cost, and schedule objectives. Communicates quality requirements, concerns and expectations and is an active participant in risk and opportunity management processes. Ensures cost commitments and financial responsibilities are met. Ensures appropriate identification and flow down of quality requirements (internal and contractual) and effective implementation of quality requirements. Ensures effective implementation of quality management system within area of responsibility and effective implementation of a metrics program and actively address adverse trends. Ensures product acceptance and delivery per established process and program requirements.

Who You Are

Basic Qualifications:
-8 + years of leadership experience in aircraft manufacturing, modification, or maintenance/ repair / overhaul (MRO) environments.
-Expertise in Quality Engineering sciences such as Process Failure Mode Effects and Analysis (PFMEA), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and Root Cause Corrective Action tools (Cause Mapping, Ishikawa Diagram, etc)
-Experience with metric development, creation, and measuring of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) across Production Operations and Internal to Quality deliverables
-Proven Quality Control/Assurance/Engineering leadership with strong Corrective Action / Preventative Action toolset , Root Cause analysis, and Lean/Six Sigma expertise.
-Proficiency with aerospace quality standards AS9100, AS9102, AS9103, AS9145
-Experience applying Earned Value Management.
Desired Skills:
-Background in engineering discipline and production operations execution environment
-Experience working with Military, DoD civilian, and DCMA customers.
-Green Belt or Black Belt Lean/Six Sigma certification
-Familiarity with Lockheed Martin systems (SFM, QADS, ICA, PCAMS, AMS 9000) preferred, familiarity with non-conformance management systems and manufacturing execution system usage
-Demonstrated understanding of Full Spectrum Leadership Imperatives and a culture of accountability.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to influence across matrix organizations.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $111,700 - $196,880. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.
Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $128,400 - $222,640. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
