Job description

We are Lockheed Martin
You will be the Project Management & Planning Operations Representative (Control Account Manager) for the F-35 Business Operations team supporting Maintenance Systems within Engineering and Technology. This position requires an understanding of Earned Value Management processes and supporting tools as you will be responsible for applying these techniques and overseeing the cost schedule and technical execution- acting as a single point of accountability for control accounts and delivering insights to drive program success.
What You Will Be Doing
As the Control Account Manager you will be responsible for coordinating with the Program Team, Finance, Planning, other Control Account Managers, engineers, suppliers and customers to ensure that program requirements and deliverables are met.
Your Responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the compliance and implementation of Earned Value Management principles by managing cost, schedule and technical scope and delivering associated business requirements on time
- Conduct cost and schedule variance and metric analysis, define root causes and implement corrective actions to ensure project success
- Prepare comprehensive EVMS presentations and performance reports for leadership reviews
- Maintain accurate Forecast starts and finishes in the IMS and mitigate schedule impacts through analysis and cross-collaboration.
- Collaborate and coordinate with program management office, finance, scheduling and engineering teams to ensure alignment on plans before baseline and during execution
- Perform in-depth reviews of labor charging
- Ensure Estimates To Complete/ Estimate At Completion are reviewed and updated for control accounts to ensure accuracy
- Conduct risk and opportunity assessments regularly to inform decision-making
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to drive process standardization and tool adoption
