Job description

The F-35 Maintenance Systems Sustainment Program Manager is a key leadership position ensuring the readiness and effectiveness of the F-35 fleet by enabling effective aircraft maintenance aligned with contract objectives and F-35 strategic priorities. Key responsibilities include:
Program Execution: Manage cost, schedule and technical delivery of Autonomic Logistics Information System (ALIS)/Operational Data Integrated Network (ODIN) sustainment scope. This includes the currently contracted Maintenance Systems Foundation CLIN, future options, and proposals to enable future contract actions. Lifecycle management includes overseeing all phases of the program, from initial planning to final delivery, to ensure successful product sustainment.
Requirements Definition and Change Incorporation: Effective coordination across the F-35 Maintenance Systems and larger Sustainment Program Management Office is essential. The Program Manager must ensure seamless integration of sustainment operations across the enterprise, including Maintenance Systems JPO stakeholders' governance and requirements planning which requires strong organizational and communication skills to facilitate and secure alignment of the Maintenance Systems Change Proposal (MCP) cycle.
Establishing Effective Program Plans: Developing and implementing program plans that enable successful product sustainment on day one of fielding. This involves thorough planning and coordination with various stakeholders to ensure readiness for fielding and operations, as well as ensuring contracting alignment throughout the life cycle.
Performance Improvement Initiatives: Identifying and implementing initiatives to improve the performance of ALIS/ODIN in the fleet. This may involve conducting assessments, implementing process improvements, and leveraging technology to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.
Strategy Development and Implementation: Identifying customer and company priorities and orchestrating the keep-sold strategy for F-35 Maintenance Systems within the evolving business landscape. This requires a deep understanding of customer needs and market dynamics to ensure alignment with business objectives.
