What is Program Planning to Lockheed Martin?
Integral to Lockheed Martin's Program Management & Enterprise Performance, it organizes tasks for mission success, scheduling design, development, and sustainability of products. It breaks down products into tasks, sets sequences & durations, ensuring on-time, in-budget, quality outcomes. Aeronautical program planning is an exciting process that combines creativity, science, and technology to create amazing machines that enable humans to explore and travel in the air and beyond!
Key Duties
The candidate is a self-starter and relationship builder supporting an integrated team to ensure successful program execution and performance, including all aspects of a validated Earned Value Management system. This position has shared responsibility for baseline management and control and assisting in variance analysis.
Responsibilities include the development and maintenance of schedules. Candidate will integrate and assess schedule impacts of proposed work on existing and future plans. Candidate will develop knowledge of Critical Path Methodology and how to apply it in schedule network development and analysis. Position interacts across functional organizations such as engineering, procurement, contracts, business management, and production. This position will be an active participant in the evaluation of planning products and practices and will be instrumental in the remediation activities upon identification of gaps. Partners with Program & Senior Management to drive cost, schedule, and technical performance by facilitating integration across all functions. Responsible for developing compliant Integrated Program Schedules which accurately validate the flow, budget, and resources required to execute contractual scope and overarching program strategy. Provides the program with time-phased critical path predictive analysis and actionable planning data, and develops recommended solutions to programmatic execution conflicts. Ensures all commitments are tracked, monitored and statused. Prepares/coordinates the development of planning artifacts for solicitation response. Interfaces with program management, senior management and the customer as the programs planning integrator. Ensures vertical and horizontal integration, and cost/schedule integration between all schedules and other program artifacts.Devises modeling and measuring techniques to integrate risks and opportunities with schedule and cost baseline, and to perform schedule risk assessments. Utilizes performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $59900.00 - $111300.00
