Manufacturing Project Engineer

Manufacturing Engineer is needed to support all aspects of manufacturing including design, development, and legacy programs.

We specialize in electronic and structural systems, producing complex products and components for commercial aircraft platforms, mission-critical military and space programs, and sophisticated industrial applications. 
Our facility in Orange, CA is a leading global supplier of large stretch formed aircraft skins, hot forming of titanium, superplastic forming and complex fastened and welded assemblies. 

Job Summary & Essential Functions 

        Contribute program and engineering expertise for facility.

        Assist in establishing operational methods and work standards using various measurement techniques

        Analyze existing operations and propose cost-justified improvements

        Optimize use of floor space, materials, personnel, and equipment

        Analyze workstation designs for ergonomic compliance

        Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record-keeping systems

        Develop work simplification methods and job aids

        Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and contract management to establish production layouts and procedures to meet customer     requirements

        May perform design on special projects as needed

        Responsible for the proper handling and management of hazardous waste generated in their work area.

        Perform other assignments as required
