Job description

Standard Job Description Performs tasks related to the overall management and operations of facilities, including energy management, material inventory, maintenance and construction. May oversee the repair, replacement or redesign of facilities, and preventive maintenance planning and scheduling. Implements the timely completion of requirements in compliance with Company programs, objectives and within established cost parameters.

May monitor work performed by vendors and/or subcontractors; determines adequacy of work relative to job specifications/scope, and recommends corrective actions as required. Basic Qualifications Equipment Maintenance & Inspection: Regularly inspect, clean, and repair specialized SAR equipment, including ropes, harnesses, radios, personal protective equipment (PPE), and medical kits to meet safety standards. Vehicle & Specialized Equipment Upkeep: Perform preventative maintenance on vehicles, trailers, ATVs, boats, or snowmobiles, such as checking fluids, tire pressure, and ensuring emergency lighting is functional.

Facility Maintenance: Maintain the SAR station or facility, including cleaning, lighting, heating/HVAC systems, and general repairs to ensure a safe working environment. Inventory Management: Track and order necessary supplies, parts, and safety gear, ensuring replacements are on hand to prevent downtime. Safety Compliance: Ensure all gear and facilities comply with safety regulations, such as checking fire alarms, emergency exits, and proper hazardous material storage.

Documentation: Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of maintenance activities, repairs, and safety checks on all equipment and vehicles. Emergency Response Support: Ensure all critical equipment is loaded or ready for deployment immediately upon request Desired Skills Technical Skills: Proficiency in using tools for basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs. Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy rescue gear (often over 50 lbs), climb ladders, and work in various environmental conditions.

Problem-Solving: Ability to quickly diagnose issues with equipment and perform repairs under pressure. The salary range for this position is as listed on the requisition. Please note that the salary information listed is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market(work location) and business considerations when extending an offer.

Annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs may be offered depending on the position. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and can vary from year to year and are tied to a range of performance metrics

For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
