Job description

Job Title: Operational Systems Analyst - Lockbox Location: Ops Center What you'll do: As an Operational Systems Analyst you'll enhance the Payment Transfer experience for the bank's internal and external customers who initiate or receive Payment Transfers. You'll be responsible for understanding, supporting, monitoring, and reporting on all details of the bank's Payment processing system, including processing flows, risk controls, and system configuration. You'll also alert the department's customer communication process when processing issues that may negatively impact Payment processing.

In this role, you'll track and manage cases opened with the vendor of the bank's Payment processing system. As a Operational Systems Analyst you'll make recommendations based upon analytics, to enhance effectiveness and efficiency of Payment Operations and where relevant metrics do not exist the Analyst will be responsible for creating them. * Responsible for supporting the Payment Operations Manager in reinforcing the bank's Payment processing system, the interfaced and supporting systems and details of end-to-end Payment processing flows. Monitor for and advise of issues which may negatively impact Payment Transfer customer satisfaction.

Provide day-to-day operational support including tracking and managing all cases opened with Payment processing system vendor. * Participate in bank projects impacting or involving Payment Operations and its systems. Understand Payment Processing operational controls, ensure they are in place and effectively tracked. Support department audits by responding to requests for evidence or providing explanation of processes utilized in Payment operations. * Gather and analyze metrics that provide insight into operational and individual effectiveness and efficiency.

Create or assist with the creation of dynamic reports and dashboards that graphically summarize this information. * Utilize Microsoft Excel, Word, Visio, to create proposals, make presentations, and update or create operational procedures. Maintain awareness of the department business continuity plans and update as necessary. What you'll need: * 5+ years of related experience: Lockbox operations, payment processing platforms * High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in related field preferred. * Experience with workflows, analytics and strong problem solving skills. * Entry level to intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management and/or other commercial banking products and services. * Entry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices. * Intermediate speaking and writing communication skills. Compensation: Hourly range for new hires is generally $35.13 - $43.00 for Las Vegas, NV. Salary amount is determined by specific job location.

In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
