JOB SUMMARY

The Demand Listing Specialist will be directly responsible for the manual listing, maintenance, and removal of homes in assigned markets across multiple platforms.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Post ready homes on external facing sites including the MLS(s) driving demand traffic to our homes from specific audiences

  • Manage platform postings through the life of the listing; initial posting, price change(s), pending and closed

  • Manage and audit home listings and ensure compliance with regional and national regulations to avoid fines

  • Communicate with local market for home description discrepancies, tax ID issues, lockbox codes and home status updates

  • Complete a quality control check on the property description and home photos when uploading to listing sites

  • Manage home access instructions on platform postings ensuring they are available and correct for showings.

  • Maintain a full understanding of the MLS Smartsheet utilized to track: MLS access information, commission amounts, time to post and MLS bylaws

  • Complete daily audit of general customer care in-box for MLS communications and complete job or forward as needed

  • Conduct audits for home availability status and price changes to update platform postings as needed.

  • Communicate with team lead to update asking rents, increased commissions and available concession packages for homes to be posted on listing platforms

  • Attend webinars/training sessions and review written material as needed to ensure thorough understanding of posting procedures and the rules and regulations for all MLS(s) utilized by Progress Residential

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or GED required (preference to BS/BA degree in business or related service experience)

  • MLS experience preferred

  • Detail oriented

  • Strong organizational skills to work in a deadline-driven, detail-oriented environment.

  • Strong data entry skills

  • Able to work flexibly and productively in a fast changing, growth company

  • Salesforce and Yardi experience are a plus

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Works independently with little supervision
