Job description

ATI has a current need for a full-time Electrician. ATI is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced Electrician. Position required to maintain and repair electrical equipment throughout a new facility located in Springfield, Virginia.
Great Pay and Benefits for an Electrician:
  • Competitive pay; $47.50 - $60.00/hour depending on experience and benefits selected
  • 11 annual paid holidays;
  • Minimum of 2 weeks of paid annual leave;
  • Up to 56 hours of annual paid sick time (based on the Service Contract Act);

Duties and Responsibilities
Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following:
  • Installing and troubleshooting electrical equipment and systems;
  • Reading and interpreting diagrams, schematics, and blueprints;
  • Maintaining and repairing wiring, conductive elements, and electrical components in buildings;
  • Testing and inspecting electrical equipment and infrastructure;
  • Identifying and mitigating safety hazards, code violations, and other electrical nonconformance issues;
  • Entering data into a Computerized Maintenance Management System; and
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications and Experience
  • Must be a US citizen and must be eligible to obtain and maintain clearance; Candidate must be able to work independently in a secure or sensitive environment;
  • Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician license;
  • Experience with the service/operation of Switchgear, UPS, and medium voltage;
  • High school diploma or equivalent;
  • Lock-out/tag-out, PPE, and arc-flash training in accordance with OSHA standards; and
  • Experience with CMMS is a plus but not required.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay Rate: $47.50 - $60.00 hour depending on role, experience, and benefits selected
Location: Springfield, VA
Working Hours: Monday - Friday (anticipate 40 hours per week). Operating hours on-site are from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM Monday through Friday; Shifts will consist of an 8-hour shift during those hours. On-call support will be required on an occasional basis.
