The Content Specialist is a dynamic and multi-faceted role, focused on leading content planning and development across the South, East and North regions. This position will work collaboratively with the regional and local marketing teams to create impactful and engaging content plan in support of the growth and brand strategies. The specialist will build relationships with subject matter experts and the business development teams across the regions and work closely with the local marketers to support key ancillary services in the regions. They will partner with their counterpart in the West and Texas to collaborate on a global content calendar.
 Your Responsibilities:
  • Lead content planning and development for the North, East and South region in support of the global and local marketing execution
  • Establish collaborative relationships with the regional and local marketing team, the business development teams and regional and market stakeholders (subject matter experts)
  • In partnership with the regional marketing teams, lead event, advertising and campaign content creation to achieve growth and brand marketing goals across the North, East and South regions
  • Partner with the regional creative team to develop local brand advertising for multiple platforms, event and sponsorship content and campaign content
  • Develop communication plans and distribute communications in partnership with the market level marketers in support of product and service lines i.e. FirstService Project Management and Gittleman Construction and Maintenance to drive internal awareness and adoption of key differentiators.
  • Lead content localization efforts as needed (spelling, terminology) and convert campaign content into new formats
  • Host subject matter round tables to stay up to date on market and region insights for content development
  • Develop social media content for the Canadian social media accounts and as needed for US markets for the US accounts
  • Create and contribute to a global regional content calendar in partnership with the Content and Communications Manager for the West and Texas
 
Skills & Qualifications: 
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, communications, or related areas 
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Confident in developing content across multiple platforms and for a variety of tactics
  • Experience leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency in content development
  • Strong project management and time management skills, ability to prioritize and work efficiently under pressure
  • Collaborative attitude and team player
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Flexible and adaptable approach toward change 
  • Familiarity with AP Style

Compensation 
Compensation for the role is $65,000 to $70,000 + benefits
