TransPerfect is looking for a results-oriented Technology Consulting Specialist capable of working directly with clients & users to transform their business goals into working software solutions using GlobalLink technology.
You will work closely with clients and sales to identify real-world customer problems and business opportunities. Using that information, you will work with the sales, production and product management teams to design and implement solutions that will solve the client's problem, enhance their experience with our technology and encompass a full range of service and technology offerings. We encourage experimentation and pushing innovative technology solutions. This is an opportunity to work within a suite of top-level translation software and contribute to the continued success of our products working with our development team.
Description:
  • Focus of the role is on post-sale implementation of software as a service, for TransPerfect clients. To do this well, you need to:
  • Understand the client's motivation & requirements
  • Anticipate bottlenecks or potential issues in workflows
  • Provide creative solutions
  • Balance the business needs versus technical limitations
  • Create a workflow with shared efficiencies-setting up the client as well as the internal TransPerfect localization management
  • Support in the pre-sale process for TransPerfect products and solutions.
  • Demo applications with the intent to showcase premium features
  • Manage discovery conversations with sales or with clients directly
  • Transform client specific needs into bespoke solutions
  • Articulate return on investment to clients in licensing TransPerfect solutions as opposed to free versions.
  • Understand complex client requirements, and work with technical partners to implement integrations and robust workflows
  • Manage all stakeholders on any given solution setup. Ensure that every component is configured per the client's requirements.
  • Help identify and implement new processes and tools as needed. Ensure implementation is possible with available resources and technology as well as partner with product management teams to add features to the roadmap.
  • Creation of clear and concise documentation in shared workspaces.
  • Partner with global sales and production training departments when required to roll out consistent trainings to all applicable users.
  • Collect user feedback and troubleshoot accordingly. Analyze trends and track improvements with transparent communication.
  • Be results-oriented and self-motivated to bring projects to completion.
  • Collaborate with any other process simplification and optimization initiatives taken by the TechOps team. Initiate process improvement projects where necessary to drive the team and business forward.
  • Possess excellent business judgment and a common sense approach to getting things done.
  • Thrive and maintain a positive attitude in a high energy, fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
