A Snapshot of Your Day
Siemens Energy Digital Process Transformation (DPT) offers an exciting opportunity to join the S4E Unify transformation program as SAP S/4 IT Cluster Manager (S4E Program). S4E is deploying a unified SAP S/4HANA platform and global process template across the organization. The role is accountable for the successful end-to-end IT rollout within an assigned cluster, ensuring that in-scope processes and localization requirements are implemented in line with the overall rollout roadmap, governance model, quality standards and timelines.
Working in close partnership with the Business Cluster Manager, the successful candidate will lead the Cluster Rollout Team and act as the IT point of accountability for rollout delivery. The role coordinates central, business area and local rollout teams, translates program objectives into an executable cluster plan, secures resources and budget transparency, manages risks and dependencies, and keeps stakeholders informed. The SAP S4 IT Cluster Manager (S4E Program) steers the Cluster Rollout Team (S4) and collaborates with the Business Cluster Manager, Central Rollout Team, Business Area Rollout Team and the local rollout teams within the assigned cluster. You will be responsible for the following:
How You'll Make an Impact
  • Own and drive the successful end-to-end implementation of the assigned cluster rollout, including in-scope processes and localization requirements, together with the Business Cluster Manager.
  • Develop and maintain an integrated rollout plan at cluster and local level, aligned with the overall S4E rollout roadmap, milestones and quality gates.
  • Support Rollout Program Management in defining and executing the overall Unify rollout plan, safeguarding implementation timelines, dependencies and delivery commitments.
  • Plan and manage IT rollout resources across the cluster and ensure that preparation activities begin on time.
  • Plan, monitor and report the cluster project budget and financial status together with the Business Cluster Manager.
  • Manage the end-to-end implementation of localization requirements together with the Business Cluster Manager and relevant template, business and solution owners.
  • Track progress against milestones and deliverables, maintain transparent status reporting, and update project information, reports and quality-gate evidence in ENow.
  • Identify risks, issues and dependencies early, define mitigation measures, and escalate critical matters to Rollout program Management when required.
  • Identify key cluster stakeholders, build strong relationships and engage project ambassadors to promote the S4E program and upcoming rollouts.
  • Conduct regular governance and status meetings to communicate progress, decisions, risks and issues across cluster rollouts.
  • Lead and coordinate the Cluster Rollout Team to enable a smooth transition to the new S4E template and consistent execution across local rollout teams.
What You Bring
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Extensive experience leading complex IT, ERP, SAP or large-scale transformation program in a global, multi-site and matrix environment.
  • Strong SAP background, ideally including SAP S/4HANA rollout, template deployment, localization and integration experience.
  • Proven expertise in integrated project planning, resource and budget management, governance, quality gates, risk management and executive reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate central, business area and local delivery organizations as well as external partners.
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and the ability to translate technical topics into clear business impacts, decisions and actions.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation and communication skills, with confidence engaging senior management and program leadership.
  • Structured, results-oriented and proactive working style, with sound judgement under time pressure and the ability to manage multiple dependencies.
  • High level of integrity and discretion when handling confidential program, financial and organizational information.
  • Willingness to travel as required by the rollout schedule.
  • Languages: Fluent English; German or additional languages relevant to the assigned cluster are an advantage.
