Job description

Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

BILL is hiring a seasoned Product Manager to lead the international expansion of our core Accounts Payable product. You will own the end-to-end product experience that brings BILL AP into new regional markets, adapting bill capture, approvals, and payments for local payment rails, currencies, tax and regulatory requirements, and the workflows businesses and accounting firms rely on across each region. Your work turns the complexity of cross-border and in-country financial operations into simple, scalable workflows that help finance teams pay vendors with confidence, powered by AI.

In this role, you will set a multi-year internationalization vision, drive zero-to-one capabilities for new regions, and lead cross-functional teams from discovery through scaled delivery. You will turn market research, local customer needs, and product data into a focused roadmap, balancing regional sophistication with the usability BILL is known for. Success looks like successful market entry, step-change adoption and retention in each new region, and revenue impact, anchored by AI-native experiences that deliver real insight and automation where it matters most.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the multi-year vision and strategy for taking core BILL AP into new international regions, looking across the entire customer experience-bill capture, approvals, and payments-rather than optimizing any single step in isolation.
  • Develop frameworks to prioritize and sequence market entry across regions, cutting through complexity to the core problem worth solving and balancing opportunity size, regulatory requirements, and speed to launch.
  • Lead discovery-to-delivery execution as a connective force across engineering, design, data, finance, compliance, payments partnerships, and go-to-market, keeping diverse teams aligned on a shared outcome.
  • Translate local payment rails, currency, tax, and regulatory requirements into clear specs, crisp roadmaps, and measurable outcomes, distilling ambiguity into decisions the team can act on.
  • Deliver capabilities such as multi-currency payment workflows, local payment method support, regional compliance, and AI-powered invoice capture across languages and formats, always in service of an end-to-end experience that feels simple to the customer.
  • Monitor market entry, adoption, activation, retention, and revenue to inform data-driven decisions, staying focused on the signals that matter most and iterating accordingly.

We'd love to chat if you have:

  • Depth in B2B financial workflows such as AP automation, payments, or accounting software.
  • Experience building or scaling products for international markets, including localization, multi-currency, and cross-border or in-country payments.
  • Fluency in the regulatory, tax, and payment-rail landscape across one or more international regions (e.g., EMEA, APAC, LATAM, Canada).
  • A track record of launching and scaling complex products and aligning diverse stakeholders across geographies.

Desired Qualifications:

  • A holistic, experience-first mindset: you naturally zoom out to the full user journey and identify where the real friction lives, not just the nearest symptom.
  • A collaborative operating style that earns trust quickly and brings partners across functions and regions along with you.
  • The ability to cut through noise and get to the core problem, then communicate it simply-strength in framework-driven prioritization and executive-ready product communication.
  • Experience embedding AI into product workflows, with clear judgment on where it drives real user value.
  • Experience partnering with payment providers, banks, or regulatory bodies to launch financial products in new markets.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and creating clarity across multi-quarter, multi-region programs.
