Part-Time | Non-Exempt | Up to 20 Hours/Week | $20/hour

What Youโ€™ll Do

This role is responsible for planning and executing YWCA signature events, fundraisers, and smaller community events throughout the year. Youโ€™ll help manage the moving pieces that turn great ideas into memorable experiences.

  • Develop detailed event plans, timelines, budgets, and vendor lists
  • Coordinate logistics including venues, catering, dรฉcor, audiovisual needs, rentals, and vendors
  • Work closely with the Director of Development, Communications Manager, Fundraising Committee, and outside partners
  • Manage timelines to ensure deadlines are met and projects stay on track
  • Oversee event setup, event-day operations, breakdown, and cleanup
  • Recruit, schedule, and manage event volunteers
  • Communicate with vendors and community partners to ensure smooth execution
  • Assist with attendee experience, registration, and general event flow as needed

This role requires someone who can think ahead, stay calm under pressure, and solve problems quickly when plans change.

  • Experience in event planning, coordination, or execution
