Imperial Dade has a Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver role available in Racine, WI ! Join a strong and continuously evolving transportation group, helping to continue to grow our business. Imperial Dade is a great place to take that next step if you're eager to find your next opportunity.
The Trailer Driver/Class A Delivery Driver will be responsible for a route of daily stops. The deliveries require unloading the product via hand, pallet jack, and dolly, and delivering the merchandise to the customer-designated location. The essential aspects of this position are delivering and providing exceptional customer service.
This route will be through the Chicago area and the schedule for this position is Monday - Friday from 6:00am to 2:30pm, or until the daily route is completed.
Pay rate: $28.13-$29.13/hr
You will:
  • Safely operate a 53' truck or smaller
  • Load and unload cargo via hand, manual pallet jack, and lift gate
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect the truck before and after trips
  • Communicate with customers with a positive, outgoing attitude

You have:
  • A valid commercial driver's license
  • Must be able to pass a DOT Medical Exam
  • Must have a Hazmat endorsement or willing to obtain within 6 months
  • A good driving record
  • 1 year of recent CDL A experience
  • 1 year of route delivery experience
  • 1 year of manual pallet jack and hand truck experience
  • Ability to handle a physical workload (lift 50+ pounds comfortably and unassisted)
  • Lift gate experience
  • Strong work ethic
