The Opportunity

The Guest Engagement Assistant Store Leader is empowered to do whatever it takes to create an exceptional and inspiring guest experience in their store. They are responsible for hiring, training, and developing a diverse, passionate team that creates authentic relationships with guests in every interaction. Their demeanor, presence, and passion for the guest experience must be evident and inspiring to the entire team. They drive sales and positive measurable results through their excellence in sales floor leadership and by meeting and exceeding all goals associated with the guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivates a guest-focused environment by driving volume and anticipating guest needs

  • Models excellent service standards and coaches associates to deliver exceptional guest experiences

  • Recruit, train and develop a team to achieve individual, store, and company goals

  • Foster team commitment through support, relationship building, and recognizing individual contributions

  • Manages the Mission Monday campaign to positively impact your community to enhance people's lives

  • Holds self and the team accountable for achievement of P&L results and statistical standards

  • Provides timely feedback, recognition, and rewards to associates, driving retention and performance

Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills with an outgoing personality and willingness to engage with guests

  • Proven record as a successful hospitality leader with a high degree of knowledge in all aspects of leadership including financial results, guest satisfaction and employee relations aspects of the role

  • The ability to maintain a beautiful environment using a keen eye for detail, ensuring a pleasing experience and inviting atmosphere

  • A genuine desire to make a positive impact on the community and contribute to meaningful causes

  • Creative and entrepreneurial thinking with the ability to react instinctively to implementing revenue driven ideas and opportunities

  • A well-groomed and stylish appearance is essential, reflecting both personal pride and a commitment to delivering a world-class guest experience at Stand Out For Good Inc.

  • Ability to work a varied schedule with a minimum of 40 hours a week including holidays, nights and weekends

  • 1 year Retail or Hospitality Management

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Physical ability to perform tasks, which could require prolonged standing, sitting, reaching, kneeling and/or squatting frequently. May be required to occasionally climb ladders, climb and descend stairs frequently, depending on location

  • Must be able to lift and carry 30 pounds regularly without assistance
