Minimum RequirementsApplicants must possess ALL of the following licensure/certification requirements: Licensure: - Valid Vocational Nurse License issued by the California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (CA BVNPT). Certification: - Valid Intravenous (IV) Therapy/Blood Withdrawal certification for LVN issued by a provider approved by the CA BVNPT. Valid Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA). Experience: - One (1) year of full-time equivalent experience as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in a clinic or outpatient care work setting (e.g., home health, correctional nursing, hospice, skilled nursing, acute care facilities, etc.).
Desired QualificationsBilingual Skills: Applicants fluent in American Sign Language, Arabic, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish and/or Vietnamese are strongly encouraged to apply. Additional compensation is associated with positions requiring the use of bilingual skills. Testing of bilingual skills may be required to receive additional compensation Outpatient clinical experience, preferably in a Public Health setting, is highly desirable
