Summary/Objective

The Reconstruction Technician will work on an array of reconstruction projects. This position will work with the PM to complete various tasks on multiple projects. The Reconstruction Technician reports directly to the Reconstruction project managers, and is under the direct supervision of the Reconstruction Division Manager.


Essential Functions

  • Drywall and texture
  • Install/remove trim, doors, windows, insulation, etc.
  • Cabinet installation
  • Communicate with customers
  • Putty and caulk and finish with paint
  • Install tile floors, showers, shower doors, etc.
  • Other types of flooring; Laminate, LVT, Vinyl, Marmolium, etc.
  • Contents manipulation
  • Countertop installation
  • Wear proper PPE when required
  • Rot repair
  • Operate tools/equipment for reconstruction projects
  • Take details notes on project progression. Both written and photo documentation
  • Timely project completion
  • Ensures all tools and equipment are clean and prepared for each project
  • Interact with customers to help them understand project progression to the best of their ability
  • Conduct repairs with minimal supervision
  • Start and sometimes leads project on a case by case basis
  • Ability to interact, develop, and maintain a positive professional relationship with all levels of personnel
  • Keep a clean van and workspace
  • Maintain a positive attitude and lead by example

Schedule:

This position is full-time (40 hours) with a 7:30 AM start time. Due to the nature of our industry, on call, overtime, weekend and after hours may be required.

  • Requires wearing common protective or safety equipment
  • Uniform must be worn and must be clean without cuts, holes or stains.
  • Uniform shirt must be tucked in at all times
  • Badge must be worn and visible at all times.
  • Clean and professional appearance. (ie facial hair, combing hair, no strong perfume or colognes)
