Status: Full-Time | Immediate Hire
Schedule: start time 5:00AM or 6:00AM, 5 days a week, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday are required.
The Shuttle Driver (Automobile) is responsible for safely driving automobiles from the staging area to their designated parking bays. This role ensures vehicles are properly marked, consolidated, and parked in the correct locations while adhering to safety protocols for vehicle operation.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely drive automobiles from the staging area to assigned parking bays.
  • Park vehicles in designated spots according to lot organization.
  • Mark cars with the correct destination and move them in designated load lanes.
  • Consolidate vehicles daily and ensure proper organization within the lot.
  • Walk the yard regularly to ensure vehicles are parked correctly and safely.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines for vehicle operation and parking.
Qualifications:
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to always follow safety requirements and practices
  • Reliable, punctual and a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Ability to operate vehicles safely and efficiently, including manual transmission (manual transmission experience preferred, but not required).
  • Must pass a pre-employment background verification, physical and drug screening
    • The Federal Rail Administration sets and enforces safety regulations and standards for railroad operations. If applicable for the position you are applying to, and if you are offered the position, you will have to take and pass a drug screen.
