i9 Sports is putting the fun back in youth Sports  AND we need your help!!  Officiating in an i9 Sports league is fun and rewarding without the headaches of parents behaving poorly on the sidelines.   i9 Sports was founded on the principle that the number one reason kids play organized sports is to have fun, not to become the next draft pick. Reinventing the youth sports industry, our players enjoy the i9 Sports Experience which emphasizes fun, safety and convenience as well as teaching the value of good sportsmanship.
As a youth sports official you will not only serve as the enforcer of the rules, but will be a culture cultivator, an impartial on-field coach, and an advocate for the our programs. We are looking for high energy, fun, reliable and service oriented people to officiate volleyball games. All games are on Saturdays (morning and afternoon) or Sunday (afternoon only). Choose one or both days, it's your choice! Previous experience is a plus but not required.  You must be able to pass a national background check, have general knowledge of the sport(s) you choose to officiate, and enjoy working with kids ages 3-13.
Responsibilities
  • Lead practice session focusing on fundamentals, skill development, and fun
  • Teach & demonstrate core concept including Sportsmanship values
  • With the help of established platforms, communicate game day information to players and parents
  • Consistently demonstrate a positivity attitude and superior customer service skills
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Sport-specific coaching experience & knowledge
  • Highly motivated self-starter; can work independently 
  • Ability to work a varied work schedule including weekends and some evenings (for the full duration of the season, ~7 weeks)
