Shift: Monday-Friday 10:00 pm - 6:00 am

DCG ONE is one of the largest privately held marketing service providers in the country. Based in Seattle, with locations in NYC and Maryland, we help companies deliver their brand worldwide through creative, print, and fulfillment services.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Large Format Operator runs and maintains a wide range of Large Format output devices. Including 3.2 Meter UV Hybrids and Flatbeds, along with 63-inch Roll-to-Roll Printers. While maintaining high-quality standards and workload balancing in a fast-paced environment. The ability to perform basic troubleshooting, follow work orders, and communicate machine conditions is key. A keen eye for detail is a must, and a team-centered mindset is required. 

We’re looking for someone who is available to work third shift. Who is also reliable, flexible, and can work overtime and weekends. If you’re seeking a stable position in a fast-growing company, then we want to meet you!

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Operates Large Format Printers: efi Vutek, efi Q3H XP, Canon, Epson
  • Occasionally operate ancillary Large Format Equipment: Kongsberg, Fotoba, Seal
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of Print media and output techniques.
  • Precisely follow work orders.
  • Track quantities and versions printed.
  • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly maintenance machine routines.
  • Inventory and order Ink and Consumables.
  • Communicate Print requirements to the Prepress Department.
  • Contribute to Team workshops and training events.
  • Attend and participate in team production meetings.
  • Identify and assess quality defects in Media and Print.
  • Follow standard protocols and contribute to the development of new internal processes.
  • Provide exceptional service and support to the sales and project management teams.
  • Handle heavy Rolls and Rigid Sheets of Printing Media.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least two (2) years of experience operating Large, Wide, or Grand format printers
  • Knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, RIP’s, and/or Workflow Software is a plus.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Hand dexterity and strength required.
  • Flexibility in work hours may be required.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
  • This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day.
  • The employee must frequently lift or move items over 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus

WORK ENVIRONMENT

  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment can be loud.
