Job description

Gazetteprinters is looking for a Printing Estimator / Customer Service Representative to join our team.
We're looking for someone who is organized, good with numbers, comfortable working with customers, and able to manage multiple projects and deadlines. Printing industry experience is preferred, but we're also interested in candidates with strong estimating, customer service, purchasing, or manufacturing experience who are willing to learn.What You'll Do
  • Prepare estimates and quotes for commercial printing projects.
  • Work with customers to gather job specifications and answer questions.
  • Review jobs for paper, printing, finishing, mailing, shipping, and outside-service requirements.
  • Enter and manage orders from quote through production and delivery.
  • Coordinate with prepress, production, bindery, mailing, shipping, and outside vendors.
  • Obtain pricing for paper, materials, freight, and outside services.
  • Prepare and submit bids, RFPs, RFQs, and contract pricing.
  • Review bid requirements and make sure submissions are accurate and completed on time.
  • Follow up on quotes, proofs, approvals, and active customer projects.
  • Help identify the most efficient and cost-effective way to produce each job.
What We're Looking For
  • 2+ years of experience in printing, estimating, customer service, purchasing, manufacturing, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and good math skills.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Comfortable working with computers and learning new software.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Dependable, organized, and willing to take ownership of projects.
Experience That Will Put You AheadExperience in any of these areas is a plus, but not required:
