Job description

Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Forklift Operator. The core hours are 2:30pm to 11:00pm. The hourly rate for this position is $20.26 per hour.
Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
What you'll do:
  • Operate powered industrial equipment in very close quarters. Lift up to 35lbs. Climb ladders. Use RF scanners and computers to complete inventory transactions. Receive and put away incoming product. Utilize stretchwrap equipment, scales, etc.
  • Responsible for quality of own work and safety inspections on forklift. Perform waste and material management activities in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Keep work area clean and orderly. Follow all safety rules and practices.
  • Works in a team-based environment to meet Bussmann business objectives.

Qualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:
  • Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • Eaton will not consider applicants for employment immigration sponsorship or support for this position. This means that Eaton will not support any CPT, OPT, or STEM OPT plans, F-1 to H-1B, H-1B cap registration, O-1, E-3, TN status, I-485 job portability, etc.
  • No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of Ellisville, MO (50 miles) will be considered for this position.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience operating stand-up forklifts

Position Criteria:
  • Successful completion of electric pallet jack and forklift operator training
  • Basic math skills
  • Ability to stand, sit and/or walk on a hard surface as well as safely bend, stoop, and reach
  • Physically strenuous activities requiring ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis, bend or reach into awkward areas and positions
