Job Title: Class A CDL Local Intermodal Truck Driver - Home DailyJob Description

We are seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers for a local, home-daily intermodal position based out of the Portland area. This role offers strong weekly earnings, predictable day-shift scheduling, and the stability of a W2 position. We treat our drivers with the utmost respect and provide excellent local routes to keep you close to home.

Pay & Compensation Options
  • Weekly Earnings: $1,400 โ€“ $1,800 average weekly pay
  • Option 1 (Component Pay): $0.65 cents-per-mile (CPM) + $40.00 short-haul pay for loads between 1 and 50 miles. Because 90% of local loads are under 50 miles, drivers average $800 โ€“ $1,000 weekly just on short-haul pay alone.
  • Option 2 (Hourly Pay): Straight hourly pay package available at $23.00 per hour.
  • Classification: Full-time, W2 position.
Schedule & Home Time
  • Home Time: Home daily (Local operation)
  • Shift: Day shift
  • Available Schedules: Sunday through Thursday OR Tuesday through Saturday

  • Operation: Local intermodal freight utilizing drop-and-hook, live loads, and live unloads.
