Massanutten Resort
Job Summary
A Mascot Performer and Wrangler will utilize a high level of customer service. The ideal candidate will entertain our littlest visitors, their families, and the community at various resort amenities, festivals, sporting events, and local outreach programs. Ideal candidates will work in tandem energizing the audience to deliver remarkable experiences to our guests and the local community.
Required
Massanutten Mascot Academy graduate (training provided)
Must be 18 years and older
Preferred
Previous experience as a mascot
Acting and performance skills
Typical Schedule
Days:
Varies from week to week
  • Weekends required

Hours:
10 to 20 Hours
  • Varies, including evenings

Core Responsibilities
• Provide positive, engaging, and entertaining performances as a Mascot Performer
• Conduct positive experiences while enhancing the image of Massanutten Resort
• Oversee the safety of the Mascot Performer by providing direction and visual assistance as a Mascot Wrangler
• Anticipate and actively seek guest participation as a Mascot Wrangler
• Other duties as assigned by management
