RGI, established in 1908, has the distinction of being recognized as the largest privately held aggregate producer in the United States.

Rogers Group is currently seeking an experienced LOWBOY DRIVER in Madison, TN that can operate a manual vehicle. This position will support crews and projects in the greater Sumner, Robertson, Davidson, and Macon county areas. The successful candidate for this position will have previous experience driving a lowboy and operating some equipment. They must possess a strong commitment to safety excellence. This individual must be safe, self-motivating, have a clean driving record, Class A CDL and prior experience.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • The lowboy driver is responsible for using the lowboy trailer to transport heavy equipment to and from various job sites, and also in transporting heavy equipment needing repair to the shop.
  • The lowboy driver may be asked to perform other tasks on the job site and in support of various construction projects, as needed, by the Construction Foremen, or Construction Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Uncompromising focus on safety excellence.
  • At least one year of commercial driving/lowboy driving experience.
  • Motivated - self-starter, able to complete tasks without a large amount of direct supervision.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and monitoring changes.
  • Previous experience operating heavy equipment is a plus.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and weekends.
  • Team player.
  • Valid CDL-A license.
  • Safe driving record.
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen.
