Job description

Essential Functions:
This position is responsible for:
  • Approaching work with a Continuous Improvement (CI) mindset and engaging in the Mid Valley Family Foods Mission Statement to identify, value, prioritize, allocate resources, and sustain improvement opportunities.

  • Schedule inbound and outbound trucks
  • Provide paperwork (Pick Ticket) to the Vault team for loading
  • Process and post paperwork in SAP & Dax and Excel
  • Attain all appropriate signatures needed to complete paperwork
  • Check in and out drivers as needed
  • Manage aging finished goods for liquidation and donation orders
  • Verify daily reports that orders are completed
  • Receiving finished goods inbound from other facilities
  • Manage restocking of pick locations
  • Manage and create all paperwork for modular pallets
  • Manage past due open inbounds and outbounds
  • Correspond daily with CCNA on updates regarding customer orders and schedules
  • Coordinate and confirm customer appointments and schedules
  • Perform other duties as assigned, cross training.

Minimum:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English. Ability to read, write and speak in Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
  • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations and convert measurements.
  • Able to sit, stand, kneel, lift, and climb ladders.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and problem-solving skills.

  • Understanding production schedules, workflows, and reporting requirements.
  • Familiarity with logging production data accurately and organizing documentation.
  • Basic knowledge of inventory control practices, including tracking raw materials and supplies.
  • Awareness of plant safety rules, GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices), and quality procedures.

  • Proficient in using spreadsheets, production tracking software, and reporting tools.
  • Ability to maintain detailed and accurate records, filing systems, and schedules.
  • Careful checking of production data, labels, and inventory counts.
  • Ability to clearly and professionally communicate with production staff, supervisors, and other departments.
