Are you detail-oriented, organized, and great at juggling multiple priorities? At Atterbury Job Corps, our Administrative Assistants are the glue that keeps the Social Development Department running smoothly — handling everything from correspondence to special projects with accuracy and professionalism.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Provide administrative and technical support to the Social Development Department, assisting with special projects and other departments as needed
- Conduct research, prepare statistical reports, handle information requests, and perform clerical functions including mail distribution, correspondence, scheduling, and travel arrangements
- Ensure timely submission, logging, and tracking of Center contract deliverables, requests, reports, and correspondence
- Draft, write, and proofread internal and external communications with the Corporate Office, Department of Labor, and outside organizations
- Maintain Job Corps/Company systems and libraries (e.g., CIS, OA, CTS, CSSR, SMR, ABRA, MAS200, FMS, eRequester, School Dude, PRH, and related directives/SOPs)
- Prepare, coordinate, and distribute the Center's weekly newsletter and meeting minutes
- Ensure the department area is organized, clean, safe, and conducive to student and staff success
WHAT YOU BRING
- High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
- Degree or certification from an accredited or relevant certified training program or school (preferred)
- Minimum of three years of secretarial or administrative support experience (required)
- Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (required)
