What are local intermodal jobs?

Local intermodal jobs typically refer to trucking positions where drivers transport shipping containers between local rail yards, ports, and customer locations within a specific region. These jobs usually allow drivers to return home daily, offering a better work-life balance compared to over-the-road trucking.
