Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Class A Tanker and Hazmat Driver to join our Logistics team. This role is critical to our operations, as you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transport of hazardous materials to customers. As a Class A Tanker and Hazmat Driver, you will be tasked with adhering to strict safety protocols and regulations in compliance with federal and state laws. Your expertise in managing flatbeds, liquid tankers, vans, trailers and pneumatic tankers will ensure that materials are delivered securely and on time. In addition to driving, you will also perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities:
  • Safely operate Class A tanker trucks to transport hazardous materials to designated locations.
  • Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
  • Adhere to all federal and state regulations regarding the transportation of hazardous materials, including proper placarding and securing of loads.
  • Ensure that cargo is loaded and unloaded safely and efficiently, following company protocols and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch and team members regarding route changes, traffic issues, or delays.
  • Participate in ongoing training programs related to hazardous material handling and vehicle operation to maintain certifications.

Requirements:
  • Must be registered in FMCSA ClearingHouse
  • Class A CDL required with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements
  • Must have valid Medical Card
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ years driving experience
  • Pneumatic Tanker Experience preferred.
  • Excellent work ethic and communication skills
  • Strong focus on customer service, quality, and on-time delivery
  • Must pass drug screen
  • Must comply with work references and criminal background check
