UV Fire Protection is seeking experienced Fire Sprinkler Pipefitters to join our growing team

supporting major commercial, educational, industrial, and government construction projects

throughout the Treasure Coast and South Florida.

What You'll Do

• Install wet, dry, pre-action, and deluge fire sprinkler systems

• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, specifications, and project schedules

• Cut, thread, groove, and assemble steel and CPVC piping systems

• Install fire pumps, standpipes, underground fire mains, hydrants, and related fire protection

equipment

• Perform system modifications, troubleshooting, inspections, and repairs

• Ensure all work complies with NFPA standards and local code requirements

• Coordinate with Project Managers, Foremen, and General Contractors

• Participate in weekly safety meetings and maintain a safe jobsite

• Maintain tools and equipment required to perform work safely and efficiently

• Support inspections, testing, punch-list completion, and project closeout activities

• Travel to assigned projects throughout the Treasure Coast and surrounding Florida markets

when needed

• Assist in training and mentoring helpers and apprentices

• Lead crews and coordinate work activities when assigned

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of Fire Sprinkler Pipefitting experience

• Experience threading, grooving, and installing sprinkler pipe systems

• Working knowledge of NFPA codes and standards

• Ability to read construction plans and sprinkler drawings

• Strong understanding of sprinkler system installation practices

• Reliable transportation

• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record

• Ability to pass background screening requirements for school and government projects

• Ability to work overtime, alternate schedules, nights, or weekends when required

• Willingness to travel as project needs dictate

• Strong work ethic, professionalism, and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications

• School construction project experience

• Foreman or crew leadership experience

• Military, federal, or government project experience

• NICET certification

• Leadership aspirations and desire to advance within the company

Compensation

• Competitive hourly pay based on experience

• Typical compensation range for this position is $20–$30/hour
