Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Memphis, TN. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and equipment in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings, following local codes and safety standards. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting blueprints and technical diagrams, running and connecting wiring, installing fixtures and panels, and using testing devices to ensure proper operation. The role involves diagnosing electrical issues, performing troubleshooting and corrective repairs, and documenting work performed. The Electrician will collaborate with supervisors, other trades, and clients, maintain tools and equipment in good working order, and adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications

  • Strong foundational knowledge of electricity and electrical principles, with the ability to apply this knowledge safely on the job.
  • Proficiency in electrical work, including wiring, installation of panels, fixtures, and related components, in residential, commercial, or industrial environments.
  • Experience with maintenance & repair of electrical systems and equipment, including preventive maintenance and corrective repairs.
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills to diagnose, isolate, and resolve electrical issues efficiently.
  • Familiarity with electrical engineering concepts as they apply to practical field work, including reading diagrams, schematics, and technical documents.
  • Relevant state or local electrician license or certification (or ability to obtain, as required by jurisdiction).
  • Working knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes, along with strict commitment to safety practices and PPE use.
  • Ability to use hand and power tools, testing meters, and diagnostic equipment accurately and safely.
  • Strong attention to detail, time management, and documentation skills, with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
