Join Our Team as a Local CDL B Driver – Rockford, IL

Are you looking for a place where you're respected, supported, and given the opportunity to grow? Look no further. Local CDL B Driver role in Rockford, IL hauling building materials using a 22’-24’ flatbed with a Moffett and a box truck. Trucks are equipped with automatic transmissions80% driving / 20% warehouse. Deliveries are within a 50-mile radius with 4–6 stops/day. You will unload at each stop using Moffett, hand carts, or by hand, with lifting up to 100 lbs. with competitive pay, great benefits, and room to advance.

Compensation

  • Pay Rate: $25.00/hr-$27.00/hr (based on experience)
  • Overtime: paid after 40 hours
  • Bi-weekly pay after conversion

What You’ll do

  • Drive a CDL B flatbed/box truck delivering building materials
  • Perform loading assistance with forklift or by hand
  • Unload using Moffett, hand carts, or by hand
  • Lifting: up to 100 lbs
  • Transmission: Automatic
  • Number of stops: 4–6 per day
  • Maintain basic warehouse upkeep and assist with pulling customer orders

Schedule

  • Hourly commitment: Full-time
  • Shifts: Mon–Fri 6:00/7:00 am–4:00 pm (or until done); some Saturdays 7:00 am–11:00 am (busy months), overtime as needed

What We are looking for

  • 1 year as a CDL B delivery driver (plus warehouse experience)
