Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Scheduling:Develop and manage efficient bus routes and schedules, ensuring on-time student pick-up and drop-off.
  • Driver Coordination:Serve as the primary contact for bus drivers, communicating route updates and navigating traffic or weather-related issues.
  • Emergency Response:Handle transportation emergencies such as accidents or delays, dispatching assistance promptly and informing relevant stakeholders.
  • Communication:Maintain clear and consistent communication with drivers, school officials, and parents to address any concerns or changes.
  • Fleet Monitoring:Use GPS and dispatch software to track bus locations, ensuring adherence to routes and schedules.
  • Regulatory Compliance:Ensure all transportation operations comply with relevant student transportation regulations.
  • Record Keeping:Accurately document routes, driver assignments, and any incidents for reporting and analysis.
  • Continuous Improvement:Work with transportation managers to enhance routing efficiency and safety procedures.

Qualifications:
