Job description

The Ascendancy Group’s Mission To be the unequaled provider of special operations forces (SOF) and Intelligence Community focused technical, service, and training-based solutions. * This position is contingent upon contract award * Overview As a TAG Mid-Level IT Administrator you will operate the day-to-day help desk for kit users, deliver end-user training on managed attribution and secure communications procedures, and perform advanced troubleshooting across devices, VPNs, and isolation technologies. You will support device onboarding, imaging, and configuration using Microsoft Device Management tools.   Security Requirement: * An active SECRET clearance
Roles and Responsibilities: * Provide Tier 1/2 support across laptops, tablets, VPN routers, MFA/2FA, and isolation technologies (virtual containers, browser isolation, app streaming). 
* Monitor queues; meet response and resolution SLAs; document tickets thoroughly; escalate per SOP. 
* Support surge operations with = 2-hour response time when directed by USG. 
* Enroll/configure devices via Microsoft Intune/Endpoint Manager; apply policies, baselines, and compliance profiles; support Autopilot imaging. 
* Manage certificates, profiles, and secure configurations; assist with patching and update channels. 
* Deliver standardized training (live/virtual) on managed attribution usage, kit handling (Faraday bags, data blockers), secure browsing, and SOPs. 
* Maintain and contribute to knowledge base articles, job aids, and quick-reference guides. 
* Issue kits prior to deployment; coordinate local delivery/receipt; maintain serialized inventory updates and chain of custody logs. 
* Perform basic hardware checks, RMA coordination, and accessory/peripheral restocking. 
Position Requirements:  * 3–6 years experience in IT operations/help desk. 
* Certifications: CompTIA Network+. 
* Technical Skills: Microsoft Device Management (Intune/Endpoint Manager), Windows/iOS/Android support, VPN client configuration, MFA tools (e.g., authenticator apps), basic EDR/SIEM familiarity. 
* Soft Skills: Customer service, clear documentation, training delivery. 
Preferred  * Experience with isolation technologies (browser isolation/app streaming), ticketing systems (ServiceNow/Jira), and asset platforms (Snipe-IT/Asset Tiger or equivalent). 
* Prior USG support experience or familiarity with compliance-minded operations.
