Job description

JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a reliable and safety conscious DZ/AZ Truck Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting, delivering COMMERCIAL TRUCK TIRES to various locations while adhering to strict safety guidelines and regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

- Load, transport, and deliver Tires products to designated locations.

- Maintain a valid DZ/AZ Drivers License and clean driving record.

- Follow established delivery schedules and routes, as assigned.

- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and Fuel consumption.

- Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations when handling Fuel products.

- Safely operate Fuel trucks while adhering to all road regulations.

- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries.

- Communicate with dispatch to coordinate delivery routes and address any issues.

- Handle documentation, including delivery receipts and invoices.

- Utilize the onboard computer system to manage deliveries and record information.

- Other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

- Valid DZ or AZ driver's license with a clean driving record with minimum 2 years driving experience.

- Air brake endorsement.
- FORKLIFT LICENSE

- Basic math skills required.

- Knowledge of transportation regulations and safety standards.

- Required to repetitively push, pull, and lift equipment up to 75lbs without assistance.

- Ability to work in various weather conditions.

- Ability to work independently with minimal oversight and effectively handle problem-solving tasks.

- Excellent communication and customer service skills.

- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

- Must be able to work changing shifts with flexible hours, as required.

- Must be legally able to work in Canada.

- High school diploma or equivalent.

- Previous experience as a Tire delivery driver is a plus.
