Are you ready to hit the road and be a crucial part of our dynamic team? We're seeking a committed individual for a temporary, full-time position as a local delivery driver!

Role: Temporary Full-Time Local Delivery Driver
Location: Nashville, TN
No CDL Required; Class B License Required

Why Join Us?

Competitive Pay: Earn while you drive and deliver site construction materials within our state.  Hourly pay + overtime.

Schedule: This is a 6 month assignment that will hopefully lead to a permanent full time position.  M-F hours are 6:30am to 4:00pm.  No weekends, evenings or major holidays.

Hands-On Experience: Get hands-on experience in the transportation industry without needing a CDL.

REQUIREMENTS:

🚚 Valid Driver's License: No CDL? No problem! A standard driver's license is all you need.

📦 Physical Ability: You'll handle site construction materials, so being able to lift and move odd shapes, sizes and weight is essential.  Most contact with materials will be with a forklift or other machine, but there are occasions where there is actual hands on work required for loading/unloading.

📍 Local Knowledge: Familiarity with the local area for efficient and timely deliveries.

DUTIES AND RESPONSABILITIES:

  • Safely operate a 26’ Mack truck and 1-ton pickup truck with a gooseneck trailer for regional deliveries, with the majority of routes being local and never requiring overnight stays.

  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.

  • Load and secure freight according to safety standards; remember, you're hauling non-standard , non-palletized construction materials!

  • Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate schedules effectively with customers and the shop team.

  • Capture photos of outgoing and incoming deliveries to document.

  • Relay real-time updates on production and delivery status.

  • Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies while keeping that professional spirit alive. 🚛🚚✨

  • Ability to lift and maneuver up to 50 pounds regularly (you're not just driving—you’re part of the team).

  • Strong attention to detail, safety-focused mindset, and reliability.

  • Basic knowledge of infrastructure and site construction is a plus.

  • Exceptional communication skills and a customer-first attitude.

  • Must have a GPS-enabled smartphone to communicate hours worked and travel time between the Shop and geofenced project sites.

What We Offer 🚛🚚✨

  • Competitive hourly pay and opportunities for overtime.

  • A positive, collaborative team environment where your contributions are valued.

  • The best of both worlds: time on the road and hands-on supply yard work.

  • Opportunities for growth and professional development within the company, with potential career paths in logistics or shop operations.

  • A chance to be part of a business that prioritizes safety, quality, and integrity.

  • Enjoy Paid-Time-Off annually, plus 9 Paid Holidays. 🚛🚚✨
