What You'll Do:
  • Drive company trucks to make deliveries to our retail plants and customer locations
  • Shuttle deliveries between the Lincoln and Atlanta Locations
  • Complete and maintain records as required by the company and government regulations
  • Obtain receipts and signatures as required
  • Pick up and deliver product to customers as needed in a courteous and professional manner
  • Load or assist in loading trailer with materials
  • Unload freight using electric pallet jack where no dock is available
  • Follow freight handling specifications
  • Actively follow safety procedures, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as required
  • Keep abreast of the dangers and hazards of products and take proper precaution
  • Operate vehicle in a manner that demonstrates that safety is a priority
  • Clean and conduct proper maintenance on equipment
  • Participate in safety meetings and training programs to remain current on safety policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties and assignments to meet operational needs of the business

What You'll Bring:
  • High School diploma or equivalent certificate
  • Meet minimum age requirement, as permitted by law
  • Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • Hazmat and tanker endorsement required
  • A minimum of 3 years of driving experience
  • Must meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirements
  • Skilled in documenting mileage and service hours in accordance with DOT log regulations
  • Comprehensive knowledge of conducting vehicle inspections
  • An engaged safety-first mindset, committing to safe work practices through Key Daily Actions
  • Ability to occasionally lift/carry up to 75lbs, frequently stoop and bend at the knees as well as remaining seated for extended periods of time
  • Flexibility to work additional hours to meet business demands

Compensation & Benefits:
The hourly pay for this role, in Atlanta, IL location, is between $19.86 - $31.76. While we provide this range as general guidance, several factors are taken into consideration when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, candidate skill set, experience and training, licensure and certifications, work location, and other business and organizational needs. Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
